Weekend Home

We spent the last weekend with family and friends celebrating the life of my Grandpa, Herb Maloney. Sarah and I drove home together and Andrew joined us later. It was very nice to visit with relatives we haven't seen for awhile. Elizabeth loves to play patty-cake with her Grandma and now claps her hands when she gets excited. She is also very intrigued by animals, especially our dog Suzie. Whenever she spots an interesting animal, be it Suzie or my Grandma's cat, she excitedly swings her arms and squeels! Saturday night was prom for my brother Mike and we went into the hills to take a few pictures. We had a wonderful time but were also glad to be home in our own beds.

Travels

At the last minute we decided to head home for Easter and to visit my Grandpa Maloney. We enjoyed spending time with family and spent a day hiking Harney Peak while Elizabeth stayed with her Grandma and Grandpa. The trip was short but wonderful!

Jumping

Elizabeth loves to play with Andrew and will giggle for hours! She loves to jump up and down. Also, when Elizabeth see's herself in the mirror she squeals with delight and starts "talking" to her reflection. Crawling has become our newest adventure as she loves to reach forward and pull herself around in an "army crawl."

Weekend with Grandma

Saturday Elizabeth and I ventured north to spend the day with Grandma M. Elizabeth got her pictures taken and then we went shopping. Somehow Elizabeth suckered Grandma into buying her some adorable little shoes! Not sure if it was the cute smile or the big hugs but either way they're fun and we had a great day!

Heading outdoors

Despite an ear infection, Elizabeth enjoyed most of yesterday outside. She loved playing in the grass! Instead of pulling the grass or stuffing it into her mouth, she was simply content with gracefully raking the ground. Today she spent hours rolling around her room pausing only to admire herself in a mirror I layed down for her. At first she bashfully hid her face and giggled. This only lasted a moment and off she went trying to figure out how there were two of all of her toys! We're planning on a quiet weekend in Vermillion. Actually, Saturday Elizabeth and I will venture northward to meet up with Grandma M. We're both excited! Have a great day and feel free to post comments!
