Visiting Montana is always such a treat for us and we were so thankful to spend Thanksgiving with our family. Although Andrew was super busy with clinicals, we stuck with our original plan to take a week long vacation over Thanksgiving. His entire family was able to make it and we had an amazing time. I apparently didn't take enough pictures so I apologize for the sparseness of this posting.
Alexander loves to play the piano and didn't hesitate to jump up to the piano with Nana! You could tell by his expressions how proud he was of their duet!
Cousins are by far my favorite memories from holidays and its fun to watch our kids enjoy time spent with their cousins. The older boys are wonderful with Elizabeth. She loved jumping on the trampoline and playing cars with them!
Talon and Alexander are at the age where they more or less just observe each other with the occasional fight over a toy. Talon was such a hoot this year... he couldn't stay away from the dogs water dish! Every time we turned around he was baptizing himself in the water!!
Andrew and I were able to leave the kids with Shirley and spend an afternoon/evening hiking in the Gallatin Mountains. The weather was surprisingly warm for Montana and we were slightly disappointed to find less than a foot of snow where we hiked. Unfortunate for the hunters of the family, this also affects the wildlife because the animals aren't forced by the cold down to the lower areas (ie hunting grounds!). The entire vacation, we didn't see a single track or animal (except on private land of course!).
