I made it home just in time to help my best friend Rachel finish up last minute packing before her move to Washington. To show her how much she meant to us, our small group threw a surprise going away party at one of her favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, I didn't get very many pictures of our last weeks together.
Even as I write this I become sad thinking that she's gone however I am certain that God will use her to do amazing things in her new community! Writing up a good-bye card I realized just how much of an impact she has had on my life in the last few years. Through our friendship I learned so much about God but also about myself. Elizabeth still asks me randomly when "B" (Bryn, Rachel's daughter) will come to her house!
