I can hardly believe it but Alexander celebrated his 1st birthday! He was so excited opening his presents (of course big sister helped with the enthusiasm...) that he was quickly overwhelmed with all the toys and wrapping paper - he didn't know which to play with first!
The cupcake was icing on the cake for Alexander! He first stared in wonder - blown away that I was actually going to let him eat it. But he didn't hesitate long and before we knew it he was begging for more (which goes something like this, "Mmmm! Mmmmm! MMMM!!!)!
I think we were all still "partied" out from the Nemo party because this birthday was very low-key.
(I apologize for the poor photos... it was a very looong day!)
