A weekend with our Iowa family was a wonderful way to celebrate the most important holiday of the year. We were able to visit both sets of grandparents and spend some quality time with the rest of our family. Our long weekend reminded me again of how blessed we are to have such wonderful family!
The kids love going to Uncle Ted and Aunt Barb’s where they can run around with the cousins and often hold kittens!
Josh and Rebecca’s dog (above) cracks me up! Such a great pointing dog. Andrew was excited to play around with Josh and shoot clay pigeons. The kids enjoyed watching…
The kids did wonderful despite the late nights and lack of naps. Grandma Irene’s couch is always a good place to rest though…
Grandma Horn invited us over and offered to make Andrew’s favorite meal from when he was a kid, hamburger gravy and mashed potatoes, yum! Alexander was adamant that he wanted to see Grandma’s camper… As in every 5 minutes he asked when we could go outside to check it out! So cute.
Rebecca is still stingy with her smiles but this night she hammed it up for the camera!
After church with Shane and Jen (who later made us delicious Indian tacos!), we went out for Chinese with Grandpa Dean and Grandma Irene! Once we were stuffed, we headed back to their house where Irene had an Easter egg hunt planned. The kids were beyond thrilled to hunt eggs and then discover the candy inside!
