Sleep was not on the agenda for the week and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We spent lots of time snuggling babies on the couch, making a Word document, and possibly watching a few hours of Glee.
The kids absolutely adore Allison. Every day when Alexander stepped off the bus, he immediately asked me if she was still here and then ran inside to make sure I wasn’t lying.
I personally don’t understand it but I couldn’t keep Allison out of the school. :) She joined Elizabeth for lunch and Elizabeth still talks about their time together.

Birthday week was extended this year since Allison’s birthday was a week before her time in Wisconsin. We celebrated by making cake pops and of course singing (per the kids request).
Elizabeth is envious of Allison’s curly hair so Allison braided her hair one night so she could wear curls the next day to school.
Reaping the benefits of living close to a Taco Bell by satisfying that fourth meal craving. It’s possible we considered taking bikes instead of walking.
And poor Rebecca went along for all of our three-hour midnight walks…
Our week of therapy, hugs, tears, and lots of laughing was beyond perfect.
