Playground Fun

Elizabeth and I enjoyed the nice weather at the park. She got a kick out of the slide. Only problem was she didn't understand she had to go to the steps to get back to the top. She wanted to walk up the slide the entire way...which led to multiple falls. I suppose that's a lesson for next time!

What a mess!

Elizabeth is notorious for making a huge mess no matter what she's eating! Notice I de-cloth her and she's still a mess. I'm half tempted to have 3 bath times per day! Lately she's been very picky with what she'll eat however, it changes depending on the day. Raisins are a big hit and so are bananas. She loves to use her fork and spoon but is still mastering the skill. She likes to drink from a cup all by herself but doesn't understand how you can't tip the cup upside down without spilling! What a fun age, I'm loving it!

Down by the river...

Here are a few pictures from when we headed outside for some fresh air. There is public land nearby where Andrew target shoots and hunts. It is right beside the Missouri River. We enjoyed being outside!

Pig-Tail?

The verdict is out on whether or not Elizabeth should wear her hair in a pig-tail again... Dad and Uncle Mike say no but I say of course, what a doll!

Oh, how cute!

Christy took some pictures of Elizabeth for me on the same day of the pumpkin patch trip. (Yes, we were very tired at the end of that day!) Being on campus, there were many distractions which didn't make for the best photo shoot but we were able to get some very cute shots. Enjoy!

Off to the pumpkin patch

After welcoming home local soldiers at a parade, we headed out of town to a pumpkin patch. We made the trek in a very full mini van! I'm not exaggerating here; we're talking four car seats (three being under the age of 2) and three adults. Good news, only two children got stuck in the mud patch! Ha ha...what an adventure! Unfortunately, the patch wasn't as luscious as we'd hoped. But, we all managed to pick out a few pumpkins to celebrate the fall season!

The best cousins ever!

Elizabeth hanging out with Raedon and Laeton at my parents house. Raedon loved helping Elizabeth go down the slide and Laeton had a blast pushing her around!

A firefighter and his daughter...

Friends are a gift from God!

First picture is of Courtney Michelson and I during the Parade of Homes in Rapid. Next was a Sunday afternnoon at the Nebraska Missouri River lookout with Meghan Torbert. The other pics are Elizabeth with Eli and Bryn Lamppa first at the USD Dome and then in nursery at church.

Accessorize!!!

September days...

Picking Apples

Apple pies and applesauce were on our minds...

Mike's Birthday

Since Mike lives down the street, we got to celebrate his birthday with him! The guys shot clay pigions and then I made him dinner.

Girls night out!

A few ladies got together to have dinner and then check out our friend, Julie's, art show. The gallery is in Beresford, SD and I was very impressed. They have a painting studio downstairs where they offer classes... I had a crazy idea to take a class but am just too busy right now; maybe next year! My favorite painting is at the end. I'm posing with Meghan above!

Weddings galore...

Andrew's best friend Tim Ferber and my best friend Courtney Utecht got married within a few weeks of each other. They were both beautiful weddings! I'm in the background of the bottom one... Courtney's going to kill me but these are the only pics I have of her and Tim from the wedding...they're cute huh!

Gotta brag...

Andrew built this buggy from scrap...impressive huh!

4-Wheeling!

Anyone who knows Andrew knows about his love for jeeps. He bought this jeep after it was rolled/totalled and rebuilt it! We had a ton of fun 4-wheeling in the Black Hills. We had a caravan of jeeps (ours, my brother's, my parent's, and Mike & Sharon's)! It was a blast!
